Last year’s articles about this event are here and here. Luckily, muskrat is not on the menu this year. This year’s Grills Gone Wild 2012 will be Monday, March 5, through Saturday, March 10. Below is this years menu.
Lats night we tried the gator, beaver, and “oysters.” They were decent, but nothing I’d go out of my way to eat. I preferred the wild boar sausage from last year. They did give me very oily French fries with the oysters. Also, two of hot sauce/bbq sauce bottles at our table had a problem…one had gone bad (smelled foul) and the other had been refilled with a completely different sauce. Still, it nice to try out of the ordinary proteins.
