I cannot resist pointing everyone to Teresa Nielsen Hayden’s latest recipe post. I think that this punch should not, under any circumstances, be brewed anytime in the next two weeks and brought to a large new years party somewhere in downtown DC. Under no circumstances at all.

Will gunpowder green suffice? I will gladly donate some from my stash…
I’ve passed this on to a friend at home, who guarantees that we will make it on account of the recipe calling for ingredients in pounds and gallons. Very nice.
And I think I like SNH.
Duly not noted. I will not scale this recipe nor divide it into affordable and easily sourced sections which I will then not distribute to individuals of known reliability.
I will also choose to forget that schneiders on Mass has a couple ryes on sale.
